The Board of Directors of Rehab Association holds its first meeting

The Board of Directors of Rehab Association held its first meeting, chaired by His Excellency the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Khalaf bin Abed Al Qasimi, today, Saturday, 17 Jumada Al Thani 1445 AH, corresponding to December 30, 2023 AD, in the presence of Their Excellencies the members of the Board.

His Excellency the Chairman of the Council opened the meeting by welcoming the members and congratulating them on the issuance of the decision of His Excellency the CEO of the National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development approving the establishment of the Rehab Association, which will play a major role in serving the Guests of God, including pilgrims, Umrah performers, visitors to the Two Holy Mosques and relevant entities, and providing services and initiatives that achieve impact. His Excellency also noted the support and care that the non-profit sector receives from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince - may God protect them.

During the meeting, the Council also discussed a number of topics on its agenda, as follows: 

1- The Council approved the appointment of Mr. Ali Bin Yahya Al-Hadhriti as the Executive President of the Association.

2- Authorizing the CEO to complete the necessary permitting procedures to begin the association’s work.

3- A date has been set to discuss the association’s rules, regulations and policies at the next meeting.

During its meeting, the Council emphasized the importance of serving the Guests of God and its role in contributing to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
